PLATTSBURGH — Plattsburgh State, using a 31-2 run over two periods, cruised to a 78-51 victory over New Paltz women’s basketball Friday night. The Cardinals went on a 25-2 run to close out the first half leading 40-17 and never looked back in the second. The loss drops the Hawks’ conference record to 3-10.
Lindsay Dakin (Andover, CT) led the way for New Paltz with 19 points while Silver Williams added 15.
Women’s basketball returns to action this Wednesday when they travel to Russell Sage for a 7:00 game.
