Men’s Volleyball Drops Match to Queens
NEW PALTZ — The SUNY New Paltz men’s volleyball team lost to Queens College Wednesday night 3-1 to drop their season record to 1-4.
The Hawks took the first game of the match 30-25 but Queens grabbed the next three 30-28, 30-27, and 33-31.
Sean Riley (Port Jefferson, NY) had a double double for the Hawks with 12 kills and 14 blocks. Mike La Rocco (Hauppauge, NY) added 13 kills, 5 digs, and 4 blocks while Beau Warren (Canandaigua, NY) had 7 kills, 7 blocks, 1 ace, 12 digs, and 3 assists. Jim Cramer (New Oxford, PA) added 45 assists in the match.
Men’s volleyball will next travel to Sacred Heart on February 12th.
