NEW PALTZ — Senior Crystal Smith (Westhampton, NY) was recently named to the 2001 SUNYAC Women’s Volleyball All-Conference Team. The entire team was comprised of just fourteen players in the entire SUNYAC Conference.
Smith finished the year playing one hundred fifteen games in thirty-two matches for New Paltz. Statistically, Smith finished the 2001 season with 328 kills, 393 digs, 43 service aces and 26 blocks. She finishes her impressive two- year career just four kills short of 500 (496), 795 digs, and 65 aces.
