SARATOGA — New Paltz had goals by Therese Nordlund (Lulea, Sweden) and Michele Branca (Holbrook, NY) in a 2-0 victory over Skidmore Tuesday at Skidmore Stadium. Nordlund scored her eighth goal of the season at the 44:46 mark of the first half while Branca connected at 62:59 for the two-goal win. Maggie Fenton (East Meadow, NY) made seven saves in goal in the shutout.
The Hawks have won three straight games and improve their record to 5-7 on the year. The Women’s Team hits the road this weekend with conference matches against Oswego and Cortland.
