NEW PALTZ — After their first conference loss against Oneonta on Thursday, the Women’s Tennis Team returned to their winning form with victories over Buffalo St. and Hartwick.
Against Oneonta, the Hawks lost a close one 5-4 splitting the six singles matches but dropping two out of three in doubles.
On Saturday, Kerry Farrell (Rockville Centre, NY), Barbara Slovak (Harriman, NY), Rebecca Billow (Florida, NY), Rachel Murray (East Chatham, NY), and Amie Larson (Port Jervis, NY) all were winners in singles and Farrell and Slovak along with Megan Crevoiserat (Levittown, NY) and Jessica Smith (Oneida, NY) were victorious in doubles for New Paltz in a 7-2 win over Buffalo St.
On Sunday, Farrell, Crevoiserat, and Larson were winners in singles in their matches against Hartwick. Farrell and Slovak and Crevoiserat and Smith were victorious in their doubles matches giving the Hawks a close 5-4 win.
