NEW PALTZ — SUNY New Paltz exhibitioned the last six events on both the women’s and men’s sides, as they cruised past Manhattanville, 76-45 and 73-41, respectively, in a swimming dual meet on Tuesday night at Elting Natatorium.
Erin Thorsen, Molly Soule, Erin Lalor and Christine Foster picked up individual wins for New Paltz (6-2 in dual meets) in the women’s meet, while Mark Otto, Jeff Burke, Jon Amoia and Jeff Galaise all earned wins for the (5-2) Hawk men.
The New Paltz women return to action this Saturday at Rensselaer’s Kumpf Invitational. The men, meanwhile, are idle until 6 p.m. next Wednesday, when they rejoin the women to close the home dual meet season against local rival Mount St. Mary.
