Women’s Soccer Team Loses

NEW PALTZ — Two first half goals held up for SUNY Cortland, which added four insurance goals in the second half, en route to a 6-1 SUNYAC women’s soccer win over New Paltz on Friday afternoon.

Carrie Hemingway had two of the (6-4-2 overall, 4-1-1 SUNYAC) Red Dragons goals, while Lindsay Martin scored for New Paltz (1-11 overall, 0-7 SUNYAC) off a pass from Keegan Peck just after halftime.

New Paltz hosts Oswego (6-6 overall, 3-3 SUNYAC), which lost 1-0 at conference leader Oneonta on Friday, tomorrow at 1 p.m.
