SUNY New Paltz Offering Info Sessions on New MBA Program

NEW PALTZ — Throughout the summer, the SUNY New Paltz School of Business is offering free information sessions for prospective students of its new master of business administration degree (MBA) program.

Anyone considering pursuing an MBA on a full- or part-time basis is encouraged to attend one of the sessions. Each session will provide an overview of the program and one-on- one academic advisement for those who bring their college transcripts.

Sessions will be held on the New Paltz campus on the following dates: June 26; July 6, 12 and 19; and August 7, 15 and 23. They will take place in van den Berg Learning Center 211 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Those planning to attend should contact the School of Business via e-mail at mba@newpaltz.edu or by phone at (845) 257-2930.

The New Paltz MBA program began in January, expanding educational opportunities in the Hudson Valley. SUNY New Paltz is the only public university located between Albany and New York City which offers an MBA.

The 36-57-credit program is flexible and tailored for both full- and part-time students. Courses are offered each semester in the evening and on Saturdays to meet the needs of adult students who often have full-time careers and family responsibilities. MBA students may opt for a concentration in accounting, finance, international business or marketing.

The fall 2000 semester begins at SUNY New Paltz on Monday, August 28. For more information on SUNY New Paltz, visit the university’s web site at http://www.newpaltz.edu.
