The Department of Music, Major Connections, and the Office of Alumni Affairs celebrate Professor Jensen’s 35 years of service to SUNY New Paltz with this special solo recital. The program will include Bach preludes and fugues, and Beethoven’s Sonata in Eb Major, Opus 31, No. 3. Following intermission, Jensen will perform short pieces by the French composers Fauré, Debussy, Cantaloube and Ravel. Works by Scarlatti and Graham Fitkin round off the program. The audience is invited to a special reception in McKenna Theatre lobby following the recital. (Due to McKenna Theatre lighting renovation, this event may be relocated to Julien J.
