Actor and SUNY New Paltz Grad to Visit the Campus

NEW PALTZ — Actor Ted Koch, a 1986 graduate of SUNY New Paltz, will visit the university on Thursday, November 11. Koch is currently appearing in Tony award- winning production of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman.

This much-acclaimed Broadway revival features Brian Dennehy in the role of Willie Loman. Koch portrays Loman’s son, Happy. Earlier this year, a New York Times reviewer proclaimed, “Mr. Koch’s Happy is just about perfect.”

The revival of Death of a Salesman was originally produced, in 1998, in Chicago where it played at the Goodman Theatre. Koch has been working in theater in Chicago since his graduation from New Paltz.

The informal question and answer session with Koch will be held in McKenna Theatre at 5 p.m. It is open to the public.
