Women’s Swimming Opens Season In First Place

NEW PALTZ — The SUNY New Paltz women’s swim team is in first place after day one of the two-day Long and Short Relays on Friday at the Elting Natatorium.

The Hawks won four of five events and placed second in the other, the 3 x 200 yard Backstroke, which Oswego took by 11 seconds.

The “short” portion of the 13th annual event begins tomorrow at 10 a.m.
