CORTLAND — The SUNY New Paltz women’s cross country team placed seventh at the 1999 SUNYAC Championship Meet at Cortland on Saturday.
Cheyl Yanek led the Hawk women with a 32nd place finish. Also placing for New Paltz were Crista Szymanski (42nd, 21:24), Erica Peterson (47th, 21:56), Sarah Dickinson (52nd, 22:16), Alison Tracy (53rd, 22:16), Jennifer Schermerhorn (59th, 22:35) and Dawson Gerhardt (63rd, 22:51).
New Paltz is at the ECAC Meet in Boston two weeks from Sunday.
