Hawks Fall Short In Women’s Basketball
BUFFALO — SUNY New Paltz outshot the fourth-place Bengals by 12 percent in the second half, but couldn’t erase an early six-point deficit, en route to a 52-43 SUNYAC women’s basketball loss on Friday evening at the Buffalo State Sports Arena.
Zebi Williams had 14 points and Sonya Mkoloma had nine rebounds for New Paltz (8-9 overall, 6-7 SUNYAC), which completes its road trip tomorrow with a 2 p.m. matinee at Fredonia.
