The August 2024 WellNYS Challenge: De-stress your life

The Employee Assistance Program’s WellNYS Everyday site has published its Daily To-Do calendar for August 2024, which encourages employees to improve their personal wellness through de-stressing activities.

The EAP offers different strategies, from positive self-talk to meditation, to help employees de-stress. More de-stress solutions can be found in a free webinar on Wednesday, Aug. 7 at noon.

View the calendar in full below or here as a pdf, or take a look at EAP’s monthly newsletter, Frontline Employee, for more self-care ideas.

About the Employee Assistance Program

The mission of the Employee Assistance Program is to provide a comprehensive, confidential, worksite-based program to support faculty and staff, as well as their families, in navigating emotional, legal, financial, grief, change, relationship, substance or domestic violence issues.

EAP is funded through the collective bargaining agreements between the State of New York and the public employee unions: CSEA, PEF, UUP, NYSCOPBA, GSEU, Council 82, and DC-37. The Office of Employee Relations (OER) contributes on behalf of Management/ Confidential employees.
