BETHANY, CA — The SUNY New Paltz women’s basketball team traveled to Bethany University in California to take on the Bruins. The Hawks had their five game winning streak snapped with an 80-66 decision.
First year Chelsea Clarke led the way with 14 points and nine boards, while senior Jenny Driscoll added 12 points on 5-10 from the field. Carly Minehan chipped in with 10 points and hauled down six rebounds and Maggie Farrell finished with eight points. New Paltz trailed 38-34 at the half but couldn’t over come the Bruins.
The Hawks fall to 6-2 on the season and will take on Dominican College (CA) on Friday Dec. 29th.
