Zoinks! Student/Faculty film team takes home BEA Award of Excellence

A new documentary short film from the SUNY New Paltz Department of Digital Media & Journalism has been awarded a Broadcast Education Association (BEA) Award of Excellence, and will receive an exclusive screening at the BEA Festival of Media Arts in Las Vegas, Nev., in April 2018.
The award-winning film, titled “Hanna Barbera at the Norman Rockwell Museum,” offers viewers an inside look at an exhibition documenting the storied history of the iconic animation studio. It was produced by a team including Assistant Professor Gregory Bray, and Digital Media Production alumni Sydney Mott ’17, Catherine Kaczor ’17, Forrest Miller ’17 and Rachel Dobiecki ’17.
