HVAMC presents outgoing Chancellor Zimpher with 3D-printed map of SUNY campuses
As former SUNY Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher prepared to pass the torch to new Chancellor Kristina M. Johnson, SUNY New Paltz and the Hudson Valley Advanced Manufacturing Center presented her with a token of appreciation for her years of service and support for New Paltz’s educational mission: a 3D map of the network of 64 SUNY campuses.
HVAMC Assistant Director Kat Wilson ’14g (Metal) and Assistant Professor Aaron Nelson collaborated to design and print a map demonstrating the the complex and potent ecosystem that unites the SUNY colleges and universities.
What a gift! This 3D map of SUNY matches the big one on my wall. Thank you @newpaltz and the students at the HVAMC for putting it together. pic.twitter.com/B6fqQRiAJo
