New Paltz and SCCC to host two open house information sessions in December
NEW PALTZ — The State University of New York at New Paltz is coming to Sullivan County Community College in December for two open house/information sessions that will highlight new opportunities for students who want to continue their education and enhance/advance their careers.
Courses leading to the bachelor’s degree in education, human services, nursing and business from SUNY New Paltz will be offered at times convenient for those working full time utilizing innovative distance learning technology, resulting in minimal travel to New Paltz.
The open house and information sessions are scheduled on Dec. 3 and Dec. 9, at which time interested students will be able to learn more about the admission requirements and obtain advisement and counseling on how to continue study in any of these four areas.
The Dec. 3 open house and information session will be from 5 to 7 p.m. for those interested in the Bachelor of Science in business only. The Dec. 9 event will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. for those interested in degree programs in education, nursing and human services. Representatives from the business departments at SCCC and New Paltz will be available for advising. Prospective students should bring their transcripts.
Both events will be held at SCCC in the upper level of Statler Hall (Building H).
