Men’s Volleyball Falls To N.J.I.T.
NEWARK, NJ — Despite 35 assists and seven kills from Robert Manosca, the SUNY New Paltz men’s volleyball team fell to 0-2 on the season with a 15-12, 15-9, 15-6 loss at the (5-2) New Jersey Institute of Technology on Thursday night.
“We are progressing in learning to play consistently,” New Paltz Coach Tony Bonilla said of his team’s effort.
Chris Wright added six kills, 11 blocks, and one service ace, while Carlos Tollinche had six blocks and five kills for New Paltz, which will next face the host Red Flash in the opening round of the two-day St. Francis (Pa.) Days Inn Tournament tomorrow night at 7 p.m.
