Academic Advising welcomes Colby Harvish to the advising team

The Office of Academic Advising at SUNY New Paltz has welcomed a new teammate, Colby Harvish, to their cadre of academic advisors.

Harvish joins Advising after working with the University’s Office of Residence Life since 2020. He brings extensive experience in cross-campus collaboration to this new role, in which he will continue his work identifying and supporting student needs with a holistic approach.

“I am confident that Colby will be an asset to the OAA team, especially when it comes to collecting and analyzing data that will inform important decisions for future planning,” said Office of Academic Advising Director Tara Salvatore.

Academic advisors in the OAA work collaboratively with students as the navigate their undergraduate experience and make informed decisions that will support their academic, career and personal goals.
