The February 2024 WellNYS Challenge: Build your social network
The Employee Assistance Program’s WellNYS Everyday site has published its Daily To-Do calendar for February 2024, which encourages employees to stay socially connected this month.
All month long, you can work to make new friends, renew old connections and put yourself out there. The EAP offers different ways to build your social network, from organizing a Super Bowl party, to reaching out to a loved one on Valentine’s Day, to pursuing a favorite hobby.
You can also attend a free webinar on Wednesday, Feb. 7 at noon for more tips on how to maintain social connections.
View the calendar in full below for more wellness challenge ideas or here as a pdf.
You can also read EAP’s monthly newsletter, Frontline Employee, for more self-care ideas.
About the Employee Assistance Program
The mission of the Employee Assistance Program is to provide a comprehensive, confidential, worksite-based program to support faculty and staff, as well as their families, in navigating emotional, legal, financial, grief, change, relationship, substance or domestic violence issues.
EAP is funded through the collective bargaining agreements between the State of New York and the public employee unions: CSEA, PEF, UUP, NYSCOPBA, GSEU, Council 82, and DC-37. The Office of Employee Relations (OER) contributes on behalf of Management/ Confidential employees.
