Questionable Authorities is hosting its annual fundraiser on April 14, 2023, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Bacchus Restaurant in New Paltz. There will be guest appearances by faculty and staff from across the University.

Funds raised will be directed to the Student Crisis Fund, which directly supports students with one-time grants up to $1,000 to help them succeed when faced with financial hardship as a result of an accident, illness, natural disaster or other unforeseen events.

Founded in 2003,  Questionable Authorities is the premier all-professor punk-rock band of the Hudson Valley. SUNY New Paltz faculty band members are Psychology Professor Glenn Geher, Biology Professor Maureen Morrow, Sociology Professor Brian Obach and Sociology Chair Anne Roschelle, and Physics and Astronomy Lecturer and John R. Kirk Planetarium Director Raj Pandya.

All of their music is dedicated to former drummer and founding member of Questionable Authorities, the late sociology professor Peter Kaufman.
