Online Peer Mentors, programming and resources to support faculty in 2022-23

SUNY New Paltz’s successful Online Peer Mentors program continues for its third year as a peer-to-peer resource for faculty looking to develop their pedagogy in varied modalities.

Do you need help thinking about how to improve your online teaching?  Do you have questions or concerns about the transition to D2L Brightspace that you’d like to talk through with a colleague? Or maybe you want to better understand the potentials of the new HyFlex model, or ideas for online supports for General Education or Information Literacy?

If you have these or related questions, please reach out to one of our 2022-23 Online Peer Mentors:

Anne Deutsch (Sojourner Truth Library, General Education and Information Literacy)

Andrew Higgins (Department of English, pedagogy reading circle)

Heather Lai (Division of Engineering Programs)

Tao Li (School of Business, Hyflex)

Christiana Reader (Department of Music)

Mercedes Rooney (Department of Languages, Literatures & Cultures)

Doni Wulandana (Division of Engineering Programs)

The Online Peer Mentors are offering sessions in the Faculty Development Center (FDC). Watch the FDC Events page for upcoming events and check out archived sessions available through the OIT Mentor Resources page.
