Giving with Friends: Scenes of service and togetherness from New Paltz students

Squid Game was the hit of the year, and the Asian & Pacific Islander Student Association’s Squid Game Night was one of the best events of the semester

Our students’ resilience this fall, during an unprecedented transition back to the on-campus experience, has been nothing short of remarkable.

There’s just a different energy on campus with you here. The fact that you make those contributions while also being proactive about protecting our community from COVID-19 (100% compliance with the SUNY vaccine policy!) only adds to our feeling of gratitude.

Prior to the well-deserved Thanksgiving break, we put out a social media call to see more about students’ activities this month. You shared stories of community service, how you’re supporting your peers, and who’s at your Friendsgiving table this year. We’re happy to showcase some of our favorites here.
