Two professional development opportunities for CSEA employees this summer

The New York State & Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA) Partnership for Education and Training has announced a new, online certificate program in Problem-Solving Techniques, and a summer webinar series that covers a wide range of professional topics.

These programs are available for free to all CSEA-represented employees.

Problem-Solving Techniques Certificate Program

This program gives CSEA employees a self-directed way to gain skills identifying a problem, evaluating the options, and applying the best solution.

You can apply for this program any time between May 19 and Nov. 29, 2021. To earn the certificate, you must successfully complete all required courses by Nov. 30, 2021

Skills for Success Summer Webinar Series

These webinars allow you the opportunity to learn from the convenience of your office or home.

They cover a wide variety of topics including workplace professionalism, grammar, keyboard shortcuts, time management, workplace safety and the merit system.
