Your input can make a difference: SUNY’s Campus Climate Survey opens today
SUNY New Paltz students, faculty and staff: Keep an eye on your inboxes this week for the biennial SUNY Uniform Campus Climate Survey, which will be coming to students on Feb. 15 and employees on Feb. 18.
This survey comes out every two years an important element of the systemwide effort to help prevent and respond to sexual and interpersonal violence on state university campuses. All responses are treated as strictly confidential, and all information is recorded anonymously.
While participation in this SUNY survey is fully voluntary, it’s an opportunity to provide critical insights that will be used to help protect and support members of our community.
The more people who participate, the more we will learn that can help us take on this issue in a meaningful way, so the College strongly encourages all students, faculty and staff to take a few moments to respond if they feel comfortable doing so.
To complete the survey, you’ll need to use the link delivered to your campus email from survey@suny.edu.
The survey link should arrive in students’ inboxes on Monday, Feb. 15, and should be sent to faculty and staff on Thursday, Feb. 18. You have until March 22 to complete the survey.
As an additional bonus, those who complete the survey will be entered into a random drawing to win a $100 Amazon gift card. Your information for this drawing will be entered through a separate portal, so that your gift card drawing entry and your anonymous Climate Survey responses are in no way linked.
The SUNY Uniform Campus Climate Survey is sent to all students, faculty and staff in the SUNY system every two years. This survey has been approved by the Institutional Review Board at SUNY New Paltz.
