Faculty: Share remote teaching challenges and best practices at Brown Bag Lunches, May 11 – 15
The Office of Instructional Technology is inviting all SUNY New Paltz faculty to spend some time discussing their recent experiences with remote instruction at a series of Brown Bag Lunches scheduled for Finals Week, May 11 – 15.
Each lunch session will take place via teleconference from 12 – 1 p.m., and will focus on a different theme related to online teaching and learning.
Instructional Technology staff will be on hand to facilitate a faculty-driven dialogue on successes, lessons learned, new ideas and opportunities for improvement, as part of a broader effort to support faculty and improve online instruction at New Paltz.
The Brown Bag Lunch topics will be organized as follows:
- Monday, May 11: Conducting Studio Classes Remotely
- Tuesday, May 12: Conducting Labs Remotely
- Wednesday, May 13: Open Topic
- Thursday, May 14: Holding Discussions Remotely
- Friday, May 15: Handling Assessments in the Remote Environment
