Still time to register for ’16-’17 Winter Session
SUNY New Paltz students can now register to earn three credits in three weeks during the Winter Session between the fall 2016 and spring 2017 semesters.
All five academic schools are offering courses, and as in previous years all courses are fully online, so they can be completed from the comfort of home. Class sections are carefully selected and designed by faculty and staff to ensure students are provided with rich and rigorous coursework and achieve meaningful, clearly articulated learning outcomes.
The schedule includes many courses that meet General Education requirements, ideal for students looking to use their free time this winter to accelerate toward their future goals.
“Winter Session is a great time to prepare for life after college,” said Judith Halasz, associate professor of sociology. “Exploring career paths and learning how to navigate the work world gives students an advantage when they apply for jobs and summer internships in the spring.”
