The SUNY New Paltz School of Business debuted The Business Institute in 2001 as a resource for Hudson Valley entrepreneurs seeking training, continuing education, research and business advising.
As The Business Institute celebrates its 15th anniversary this summer it is preparing to unveil a new series of open-enrollment course offerings in Executive Education: challenging, unique sessions taught by experts from among the business faculty and the broader professional community, designed for professionals across all industries who are interested in improving management and leadership skills.

The courses have been carefully designed to combine theory and practice in subjects ranging from professional project management to entrepreneurship and innovation to organizational health and conflict mediation. Many of the courses can be completed within just a few days, and certificates of completion will be presented to those who fulfill professional development requirements.
