The prominent publication InsideHigherEd regularly changes the background wallpaper images on its various social media sites. In response to a tweet that was sent in March requesting photos, Social Media Manager John Oles (Communication & Marketing) forwarded images of New Paltz. “They loved the atrium shot and asked if they could use it. I was very excited they used a shot I took and the impact it may have,” said Oles.
The photo was used by InsideHigherEd as a social media background on Facebook, with 27,000 followers, and Twitter, with 90,000 followers.
