NEW PALTZ – The School of Business at the State University of New York at New Paltz is currently offering free study group sessions to area CPA exam candidates. These sessions, held bi-weekly on Wednesdays now through Dec.4 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. in van den Berg Hall 21, are open to all area professionals and students who are planning to sit for the CPA exam.
The next session, scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 2, will feature guest speakers from Mid Hudson Young CPAs group. The group will discuss the topic of “Getting Motivated to Conquer the Exam.” The subsequent session, to be held Wednesday, Oct. 16, will focus on “Tackling Trouble Areas, Surveying Exam Preparation Programs, and Applying for the Exam.”
Sessions aim to provide participants with exam tips, simulation labs, and opportunities to ask questions and share concerns.
