NEW YORK, NY-The SUNY New Paltz women’s volleyball team for the second consecutive season have made it to the NCAA Tournament. The Hawks opening round opponent will be the Roger Williams University Hawks from Bristol, Rhode Island. The tournament will be taking place at the Coles Sports Center on the campus of New York University on Thursday, November 12th at 3:30 p.m.
New Paltz received an automatic bid after winning the SUNYAC in straight sets over Brockport and rival Cortland. The Hawks are riding a 22 game-winning streak and have won 30 of their last 31 games overall.
Roger Williams received an automatic bid after winning their (The Commonwealth Coast Conference) Championship. The Hawks finished 21-10 overall and 8-2 in TCCC.
