Cross Country Results from ECAC

The SUNY New Paltz men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the ECAC’s on Saturday afternoon at Williams College. The women finished 25th out of 39 teams and the men finished 34th out of 43 teams.

Leading the way for the women was Alexandra Berenis who finished 102nd with a time of 25:54 and Christina Bartonicek crossed the finish line at 27:08 for 118th place. Caitlin Feeley finished 137th and crossed at 27:32 and Joanna Goldfarb finished 11 second behind Feeley for 147th place. Saira Kahn rounded out the top five for the Hawks with a 158th place finish at 28:14.

On the men’s side, Daniel Caruso finished 174th in 30:41 and Greg Hanusch was 16 second behind Caruso in 186th place. Doug Templetion finished at 31:02 in 191st place and Michael Montero finished at 32:05 in 213th place. Cohen Ethan rounded out the top five runners for the Hawks in 248th place in a time of 33:34.

The team will finish up the season at the NCAA race on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Geneseo.
