This weeks senior spotlight features women’s soccer player Rebecca Kakfo and women’s volleyball player Alison Kiernan.

Rebecca Kafko, 21 years old:

How did you get involved in soccer? How old were you?

I was signed up by my parents at age four, and then joined a travel team at age eight.

Do you have any brothers or sisters?

I have a twin sister Salley, and an older brother named David.

What would you say is your favorite food?

Sushi!

What is the first thing that you eat in the morning?

Cereal.

What is your greatest moment in sports?

When my travel team won the Waulbaum’s Cup.

What is your worse moment in sports?

Losing in penalty kicks against Plattsburgh not allowing us to the next round.

What is the last movie that made you cry?

My sister’s keeper.

What’s your favorite movie?

Forrest Gump and Billy Madison.

What’s your favorite color?

Green.

What is on your i-Pod now?

Third Eye Blind’s new album Ursa Major.

Most influential person(s) in your life?

My parents and siblings.

If you could take three things to a deserted island, what would you bring?

My i-pod, a frying pan, and matches.

What is your dream job?

To work in a music marketing or sports marketing department.

My middle name is spelled Zoee because my parents wanted everyone to have 16 letters in their name.

Reality TV Shows.

Alison Kiernan, Age 20:

How did you get involved in volleyball?  How old were you?

My friends and I all played in eighth grade.

Did you play any other sports in high school? 

Basketball.

Do you have any brothers or sisters?

I have two older brothers; Rob (28) and Chris (25).

What would you say is your favorite food?

Spinach and Veggie Pizza.

If you could go on a celebrity dream date, who would it be with?

James Franco.

What is the first thing that you eat in the morning?

Cereal and tons of coffee.

What is your greatest moment in sports?

My greatest moment in sports was winning regionals junior year and going to the NCAA’s.

What is your worse moment in sports?

The worst and funniest moment in sports was running into the net during a game of blind dodge ball during the preseason of my sophomore year.

What is the last movie that made you cry?

My Sister’s Keeper.

What’s your favorite movie?

P.S. I love you.

What’s your favorite color?

Pink.

What is on your i-Pod now?

My favorite highway.

Most influential person(s) in your life?

My mother.

A book, cherry coke zero, and a deck of cards.

What is your dream job?

To do whatever Paris Hilton “does”.
