The 2008 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Collegiate National Academic Squad has been announced. The National Academic Squad program recognizes those collegiate student-athletes who have achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 through the first semester of the 2008-09 academic year. SUNY New Paltz had 14 members named to the squad, including Kelly Brogan, Jillian Cafarchio, Marissa Costello, Kristen Donnelly, Alyssa Finck, Meghan Flynn, Heather McCoy, Courtney Merton, Maryana Organidis, Sarah Schloss, Elizabeth Tong, Gretchen Tucker, Emmi van den Boom and Grace Watson.
