Zachary Potter, a 2008 graduate, has signed with the Namur Angles for the upcoming 2009 Belgium League season.
Potter, a right-hander, went 7-1 on the mound in nine starts including seven complete games while compiling a 2.30 ERA last season for the New Paltz Hawks. The Pine Plains native limited opposing hitters to a meager .203 batting mark and fanned 87 in 66 2/3 innings of work.
Opening day for the 2009 Belgium League season will be on Saturday, April 18.
