Five different players registered goals for SUNY New Paltz as the Hawks defeated host Morrisville 5-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Senior Kate Addiss (Amherst, NY) opened the scoring just three minutes into the contest off an assist from Jennifer Anselmi (North Rockland, NY) who found Addiss for the one touch score in the box.
Minutes later, Rebecca Devlin (Staten Island, NY) added an unassisted score off a steal from the defense that was mishandled and continued through goalkeeper Katie Tiffany’s legs.
In the 54th minute, Devlin found Elana Jaroff (Old Westbury, NY) for the header off a cross from the right.
Stephanie Wallman (Smithtown, NY) added the fourth Hawk score at 66:34 off a cross from the left by Jaroff before Nora Westcott (Howard Beach, NY) added the final New Paltz score at 74:10 off a deflection in the defense’s attempt to clear the ball.
New Paltz (8-6-1, 4-3-1 SUNYAC) returns to the field Wednesday at Oneonta at 3:00pm.
