Field Hockey Falls to Kean

The field hockey team traveled to Kean University this afternoon and was shut out by the Cougars 6-0. The Hawks fall to 1-3 on the season, while Kean improved to 3-2 overall.

Kean took to the board nine minutes into the game and scored two more in the first half. The Cougars pounded out three more second half goals as Kean outshot the Hawks, 25-5 overall in the contest.

Sophomores Grace Watson and Elizabeth Dini split time in net, posted a combined nine saves.

New Paltz returns to action on Saturday September 20th when they travel to Brockport for a 1pm SUNYAC contest.
