The SUNY New Paltz women’s soccer team traveled to Ramapo College Wednesday afternoon and defeated the Roadrunners 1-0.
Senior Katie Addiss (Amherst, NY) ripped a shot to put the Hawks up 1-0 with just under ten minutes to play in the second half. Senior goalkeeper Sarah Boccard (Washingtonville, NY) picked up her first shutout of the year, making seven saves during the game.
New Paltz held the advantage in shots 18-11 and corners 4-2.
New Paltz stands at 1-2 on the season and returns to action on Friday when they travel to St. Joseph’s (LI) for a 4:30 pm non-conference matchup.
