NEW PALTZ, NY — In 2008, the men’s volleyball team posted an 11-22 overall record and finished fourth in the NECVA-metro division with a 6-3 conference record.
Senior libero Pedro Media was named to the All-metro-division second team. Medina finished the season with a single season record of 463 digs and was ranked #1 in Div. III digs. He completes his career with a record number 1198 digs. Junior Ryan Huberty led the team with 365 kills while collecting 171 digs. Sophomore Alex Jackson totaled 357 kills, 22 aces and 45 blocks while classmate Dan Liberto registered 222 kills and a team high 75 blocks. Sophomore Stephen Pendleton dished out 1071 assists, 141 kills, 63 blocks and team high 24 service aces.
