NEW PALTZ, NY — The men’s volleyball team hosted Purchase today and defeated the Panthers 3-0 (30-11, 30-22, 30-10). The Hawks advance to 6-14 on the season and 2-2 in NECVA.
Junior Mark Blair led the attack with 10 kills and Mike Fink added nine kills. Senior Pedro Medina registered seven kills and nine digs. Yuki Nagai and John Knapp each added five kills and combined for nine of the teams 11 aces. Stephen Pendleton handed out 29 assists and Eric Rothbard collected 11 digs.
New Paltz returns to action tomorrow afternoon when they host Yeshiva at 2:00 pm.
