NEW PALTZ — The State University of New York at New Paltz has scheduled a demonstration of a public address system for this Friday at 10 a.m.
Members of the New Paltz community may hear a loud noise which may be in the form of the spoken word or horn. THIS IS ONLY A TEST and it is expected to last no more than five minutes.
This is a test of a system the campus may purchase in order to be in compliance with State University of New York recommendations about emergency notification after the shootings at Virginia Tech.
