Women’s Soccer Shut Out by Oneonta 6-0

ONEONTA, NY — The women’s soccer team traveled to Oneonta this afternoon and fell to the Red Dragons 6-0. The Hawks fall to 6-6-4 overall and 4-3-3 in the SUNYAC. The Hawks need a win over Oswego on Saturday to secure a playoff spot.
Oneonta netted three goals in each half and outshot New Paltz 28-1. First year Vanessa Rogers registered the Hawks lone shot and keeper Sarah Boccard posted nine saves in net.
New Paltz returns to action this Saturday when they travel to Oswego to close out their SUNYAC schedule with game at 1:00 pm.
