Defender Ryan Lundgren raced to position and striped Bruh of possession.
New Paltz battled the SUNYAC top seeded Red Dragons the entire 90 minutes but were unable to split the uprights. The Hawks key opportunity came with just under three minutes left when Lucas Natel crossed a ball from the right side. New Paltz just needed a small touch on the ball but were shut down by the Oneonta defense. The Red Dragons netted their insurance goal at 88:51 when Kyle Hoffer received a through ball from Keith Manscuk. Carlucci came out to cut down the angle but Hoffer slide the ball right past Carlucci into the open net.
