NEW PALTZ, NY — Junior goalie Mike Judge (Massapequa Park, NY/Massapequa) was selected the SUNYAC Men’s soccer player of the week for the week ending September 30th. In his first start of the season and just his third appearance overall in 10 games, Judge made seven saves in a 2-0 shutout on Sept. 29 versus visiting Brockport. The win was New Paltz’s first of the season and its first victory over the Golden Eagles since 2001.
Judge is the second New Paltz men’s soccer player to earn the honor since it began in 2000. Greg Foss (’06) earned the honor in 2004.
