The cross teams competed in the Hamilton Invite on Saturday and placed sixth on the women’s side and ninth on the men’s. First year Danielle Harmon paced the women’s team with a 21st place individual finish with a time of 19:48. Sophomore Lisa Cassaro was close behind in 23rd (19:59). Rounding out the scoring five was Olga Stulov (20:24), Stephanie Albinski (20:54) and Joanna Goldfard (22:46).
On the men’s side sophomore Nick Avello paved the way with a 33rd place individual finish (29:34) followed by Alex Colucci (30:56). The top five included Tim Ivancic (31:49), Robert Grazier (32:09), and Sean Brown (33:23).
The Hawks will return to action in two weekends when they compete in the SUNYAC Championships hosted at Potsdam.
