Hawks Fall to Kean, 2-0

NEW PALTZ, NY — The field hockey team hosted Kean this afternoon and fell to the Cougars, 2-0. Kean broke a scoreless tie in the 52nd minute on a shot by Alli Green, which proved to be the game winner. The two teams played a scoreless first half, with Kean holding an 11-0 shot advantage. The Hawks managed two shots in the game, taken by Sarah Schloss and Jess Moore.
Kean took the 2-0 lead in the 67th minute. First year Elizabeth Dini took the loss in net for the Hawks, posting five saves in 50 minutes of play. New Paltz travels to Western Connecticut on Wednesday, September 12th for the 4pm match-up.
