School of Education now offering extended office hours

NEW PALTZ — The School of Education at the State University of New York at New Paltz is now offering a new information office with extended office hours for graduate students and students who are taking classes in the evening.

The Office of the Information Associate is available to assist all students in the School of Education by providing information on the many degree programs offered by the school. The office also provides students with information on registration, financial aid, scholarships, certification application, NYSTCE testing, library programs, academic development, career and disability resources, and other National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education programs on campus.

The office is located in the Curriculum Materials Center in Old Main Building, Room B11, and is open Monday through Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. and on the first and third Saturdays of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Professional Education Unit and the School of Education at the State University of New York at New Paltz is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). This accreditation covers initial teacher preparation and advanced preparation level programs.
