NEW PALTZ, NY — The SUNY New Paltz baseball team hosted the CCNY Beavers this afternoon and soared to a 20-4 victory. CCNY jumped out to an early 3-1 lead after the first inning, but then the Hawks took full control. Alex Cadmus went four of five from the plate with two RBI. Kevin Paino and John DeKams each had three hits and four RBI. Tyler Terlecky went three of four from the plate with three RBI.
Neal Rosengren earned the win on the mound, allowing seven hits, three runs and three walks in five innings. The Hawks will return to action tomorrow afternoon when they host Rensselaer at 3:30 p.m.
