NEW PALTZ, NY — In 2006-07, the men’s swim team highlighted their season with a fourth place finish at the SUNYAC meet. First year Stephen Cozzolongo and junior Johnny Fleckenstein were named to the All-Conference second team. Fleckenstein finished third in the 400 IM (4:18.96) and Cozzolongo took third in the 100 back touching in 54.08.
First year Zack Lowenstein finished fourth in the 200 back and 200 IM. Fleckenstein was fourth in the 200 breast and sophomore Stefan Crain finished fifth in the 500 yard freestyle. The 800 free relay of Brian Bennett, Crain, Fleckenstein and Lowenstein took fourth. The Hawks finished with a 4-4 dual meet record.
